Use of Website
Use the website only for lawful purposes. Do not misuse, damage, disrupt or try to gain unauthorised access to it. We try to keep content accurate and may change or remove it without notice.
Intellectual Property
Website content (text, photographs, graphics, logos) belongs to or is used with permission by PDEI. Photographs of children in our programmes are used only with the consent of their parents or guardians. Content may not be copied, modified, distributed or used commercially without written permission.
Donations
Donations are voluntary contributions towards PDEI charitable objectives, including Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) programmes, and are processed through third-party payment gateways. No physical goods are shipped; donation receipts are delivered by email. Donors confirm that the information given is correct and that they are authorised to use the payment method. Information on use of funds, including annual reports and audited statements, is available on our website.
Tax Benefit & FCRA
PDEI is registered under section 12AB of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (Registration No. AAATP3368G25DL01, valid for AY 2027-28 to 2036-37) and approved under section 80G(5) (Approval No. AAATP3368G25DL02, valid for donations made in FY 2026-27 to FY 2030-31, i.e. AY 2027-28 to 2031-32), both dated 27 February 2026, and these continue under the Income-tax Act, 2025. A donation receipt is issued within 7 working days. To claim the tax deduction, donors must provide their PAN (or Aadhaar), address and contact details; the donation is reported to the Income Tax Department in Form 10BD, and a certificate in Form 10BE is issued by 31 May following the end of the financial year. Foreign contributions are accepted only as per FCRA, 2010 (FCRA Reg. No. 231660141), and are received only in our FCRA designated account with State Bank of India, New Delhi Main Branch, 11 Sansad Marg, New Delhi 110001.
