Pratham Delhi Education Initiative (“PDEI”, We”) respects the privacy of visitors, donors, volunteers and other users. This policy follows the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What We Collect

Name, email, phone, address, PAN or Aadhaar (for 80G receipts and Form 10BD reporting), donation details (amount, date, transaction reference), information you submit in forms.

How We Use It

To process donations and issue receipts, respond to enquiries, share updates about our programmes, improve the website, and keep records for accounting, audit and legal compliance.

Payments

Payments are processed by authorised third-party gateways. We do not collect or store complete card, UPI or bank details.

Sharing & Security

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers, payment processors, auditors, advisors, regulators or government authorities where necessary. We use reasonable safeguards, but no transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Retention & Your Rights

We keep information only as long as needed for its purpose and for legal, accounting and audit requirements. You may ask to access, correct, update or delete your information (subject to legal record-keeping), withdraw consent, nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf, or unsubscribe at any time.
